Connecting Ideas with Confidence (Grades 5+)

  • Rose Writing Center 229 East 85th Street New York, NY, 10028 United States (map)

Writers use conjunctions to build more complex and sophisticated sentences—but not all conjunctions function the same way. In this workshop, students will learn the difference between subordinating and coordinating conjunctions and practice using them to join ideas effectively. Ideal for students who are ready to move beyond simple sentences and elevate the structure of their writing.

  • Workshop fee: $40
