Photo/Video Consent

Dear parent,

During educational sessions, there are often excellent photo opportunities to showcase student learning and writing activities. Many prospective clients request to see brief video clips from Rose Writing Center sessions and are grateful to see images of the services that Rose Writing Center provides. As such, I would appreciate your permission to use photographs, videos, and recordings taken during class time for promotional purposes such as the website, social media, mailings, and marketing collateral. I will make every effort to show you photos or recordings prior to promotional use. Though I record all online classes, if you decline the terms of this consent form, then I will not use photos or videos of your child from those classes for promotional purposes.

I understand that a photograph, video recording, audio recording or other electronic or digital method of recording my likeness taken of my child, me, or my child’s guardian(s) by Rose Writing Center LLC (“Rose Writing Center”) may be used by Rose Writing Center for advertisement, publicity, or information distribution. I hereby irrevocably authorize Rose Writing Center to copy, publish, exhibit or distribute in any legal manner, any and all images, videos, audio recordings and electronic or digital recordings in which my likeness appears. I further waive any right to inspect or approve any advertisement, publication or information piece in which the likeness of my child, myself, or my child’s guardian(s) appears. I agree that Rose Writing Center is the exclusive owner of all copyright and other rights in such photographs, recordings or videotapes and may use and license such photographs, recordings or videotapes in any manner and in any media now known or hereafter discovered or developed. I hold Rose Writing Center harmless and release and discharge Rose Writing Center from any claims, demands or causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators or other persons acting on my behalf or on behalf of my estate have or may have by reason of this authorization.
